An introduction by New England Bamboo Company. The discovery of this P. aureosulcata is the first in the world with a variegated and ribbed stem – green variegation on gold/yellow culms. Foliage and branching are typical. The shortest of all Phyllostachys. Found and named by Chris DeRosa of NEBC.
